Role Summary

VP, TA & Launch Decision Science, CRM role focused on transforming therapeutic area strategies by bridging IDS insights with business needs. Leads a team of Product Decision Science, fosters innovation and thought leadership, and coordinates across IDS to create integrated action plans and strategic recommendations for TA portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and align insights from across IDS to enable smarter, data-driven decisions addressing TA business challenges
  • Drive early-stage asset strategy by delivering actionable insights in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders pre-IPST formation
  • Elevate decision making across TAs by delivering integrated insights
  • Collaborate with the SVP for each TA to refine analyses and sharpen insights/recommendations
  • Serve as point of contact to connect business partners with IDS capabilities
  • Drive prioritization of IDS efforts for the assigned therapeutic area to focus on high-impact opportunities
  • Support prioritization of IDS efforts across inbound requests for a given TA
  • Lead a team of Product Illuminators as thought partners/challengers for IPSTs
  • Ensure collaboration and alignment among Product Illuminators within a TA and with IDS delivery teams
  • Develop skillsets of Product Illuminators, including sourcing and acting on feedback from business partners and IPST leads
  • Shape workplan and deploy resources to generate analyses and integrate into a narrative

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare with focus on strategic insights, decision science, and/or analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of therapeutic area landscape including business development, launch planning, and early asset strategy
  • 5+ years of domain expertise in secondary data analytics, data science, primary market research, field analytics and insights, market access, patient service analytics, or related analytics and management consulting
  • 5+ years of people management experience; ability to enable data-driven decision-making at senior leadership level
  • Strong ability to integrate insights across diverse data sources and align with business priorities
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with senior leadership and align diverse teams
  • Hands-on experience with senior executives to refine analyses and influence strategic recommendations
  • Proven leadership in managing high-performing thought leaders and fostering innovation
  • Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams across commercial, R&D, and medical affairs
