Role Summary
As Vice President of Strategic Sourcing at Anda, you’ll shape the sourcing strategy for one of the most dynamic pharmaceutical distribution businesses. Reporting directly to the SVP General Manager of Anda and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives across all product categories and supplier relationships. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement transformation to align with commercial priorities and enterprise objectives. You will champion supplier partnerships, risk mitigation, and value creation—ensuring resilience, innovation, and long-term growth across the distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Leading enterprise-wide sourcing strategies across all product categories and spend areas.
- Building and managing strategic supplier partnerships to deliver innovation, risk mitigation, and long-term value.
- Driving supplier performance and risk management, including scorecards, audits, and continuity planning.
- Championing procurement transformation through digital tools, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams—Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance—to align sourcing priorities with business objectives.
- Developing and mentoring a high-performing team while representing sourcing in executive forums and strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Required: 15+ years of leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
- Required: Expertise in developing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies and negotiating high-impact contracts.
- Required: Experience sourcing finished goods (not raw materials or indirect spend), with a strong track record of managing supplier relationships that support commercial distribution and business growth.
- Required: Strong knowledge of supplier segmentation, category strategy, and performance management.
- Required: Advanced financial and analytical skills, including cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Required: Demonstrated ability to align sourcing priorities with commercial, regulatory, and operational objectives.
- Required: Proven success in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.
- Required: Experience driving procurement transformation and adapting to changing market dynamics.
- Required: Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
