VP – Research & Development

Role: Senior R&D leader overseeing strategy, execution, and management of Quanterix’s Simoa and Spatial technology platforms, including instrument, assay, reagent, and product development. Responsibilities: lead R&D portfolio alignment with corporate goals, drive project execution, establish governance, and foster innovation; collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and Quality; develop organizational capabilities and lead high-performing teams; manage budgets and external partnerships. Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred; 15+ years in R&D, product development, biotech, diagnostics, or life sciences; experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex product portfolios, ideally within regulated environments. HighValue: focus on ultrasensitive biomarker detection technologies, assay and reagent development, tissue imaging platforms, and regulated product environments; leadership in innovative, scalable platform and assay development.
