Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee a unified field strategy, operating model, deployment structure, and capability enhancement program for Market Access & Patient Support field teams across therapeutic areas (TAs).
- Attract, coach, and retain National & Regional Directors and field-focused Patient Support professionals.
- Serve on the MA&PS Leadership Team and partner with TA Strategy leads and relevant MA&PS COEs (Trade, Specialty Pharmacy, Payer, Alternate Site of Care, Patient Support Center) to execute TA-specific access and support priorities through field teams.
- Lead Field Strategy & Effectiveness; improve efficiencies and effectiveness using analytics, KPIs, and CRM tools; support continuous evolution and learning.
- Coordinate field associate activities, business plans, and customer resolutions with the Customer Engagement Team and other field counterparts.
- Integrate payer, reimbursement, policy/regulatory, and stakeholder ecosystem realities into field strategy and execution.
- Collaborate across multi-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, MAPS, Operations, Training, Legal, ERC, etc.) for a collaborative, compliant approach.
- Ensure integrity and compliance with NPC policies and handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with HIPAA and privacy requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: Bachelorβs degree required; MBA, Pharm D, Health Policy, or equivalent preferred.
- 12+ years pharmaceutical industry experience; demonstrated leadership in matrixed environments (direct/indirect); people management/development highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of US healthcare dynamics and drivers of pharmaceutical value.
- Ability to analyze complex business trends and deliver clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; ability to collaborate across a matrix.
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to solve complex process/procedure issues.
- Inspirational, self-aware leadership with curiosity and focus on empowering others; results-oriented, agile growth mindset.
- Ability to travel 50% across a broad geography (drive and/or fly within territory).
