Key Responsibilities
- Set and lead the US medical strategy across marketed, pre-launch, and life cycle management indications.
- Shape the healthcare landscape through strategic partnerships and senior-level regulatory engagement, including FDA interactions.
- Advance patient access by partnering on health outcomes and real-world evidence to support reimbursement and clinical adoption.
- Expand the portfolio by leading US medical input into business development and licensing and new product commercialization.
- Drive enterprise impact through cross-functional leadership across Medical, Clinical Development, Global Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams.
- Build and develop high-performing teams.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelorβs (or equivalent) degree required; doctorate-level degree in MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in Health Sciences or related field required; Medical Degree (MD, DO) or equivalent preferred.
- 12+ years of progressively senior experience in clinical development or medical affairs (pharmaceutical/biotechnology/academic institution or clinical practice).
- 5+ years people management and team leadership experience (developing senior medical talent preferred).
- Deep understanding of the US healthcare landscape (payer dynamics, access pathways, healthcare system trends).
- Strong clinical research experience (protocol development, clinical trial operations, patient recruitment strategy).
- Expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence to support access/reimbursement/value.
- Demonstrated enterprise-level influence across US and Global organizations.
Desirable Requirements
- Cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic area experience with strong disease-state knowledge and clinical credibility.
- Established relationships with medical experts and professional societies in the cardiovascular/metabolic landscape.
Compensation/Benefits
- Salary expected: $318,500β$591,500 per year.
- Performance-based cash incentive; eligibility for annual equity awards depending on role level.

Location/Travel/Other
- East Hanover, New Jersey site (remote may be possible); no relocation support.
- US and European travel required (estimated 30β35% annually, up to 40% seasonally).
