The Vice President (VP) Global Executive Compensation will lead the design, implementation, and communication of Takeda’s executive compensation and equity programs.

Responsibilities:
- Lead interactions with the Board, Shareholders, Executives, Trustees, and oversight bodies for executive compensation and equity matters.
- Develop materials for Compensation Committee review and discussion.
- Oversee Japanese equity program administration (internal/external directors and Japanese-based executives and employees) with finance, legal, and global compensation.
- Provide thought leadership and execute executive compensation practices (including leveling senior executive roles).
- Manage senior executive population elements: contracts, executive benefits, and perquisites.
- Own regulatory disclosures and ensure global compensation regulation compliance.

Experience/Qualifications:
- 10+ years in global compensation, plus 5+ years in executive compensation.

Skills/Traits:
- Strong technical expertise in global executive compensation.
- Knowledge of finance/accounting impacts of compensation plan design.
- Low-ego, both hands-on and strategic; agile across time zones and cultures.
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
