Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an integrated GSQ Communications Strategy and platform of plans/actions across all levels and sites.
- Create and execute the Global Supply Quality (GSQ) communications strategy to engage internal/external stakeholders and build Takeda’s brand and reputation.
- Align and engage GSQ employees on manufacturing and quality goals; enhance external reputation based on key events.
- Ensure communications strategies align with corporate business objectives and promote Takeda’s vision, reputation, brand, and narrative via the Global Communications Leadership Team.
- Develop capabilities of the GSQ communications network and GSQ leadership; serve as a key member of the Global Communications Leadership Team.

How you will contribute
- Lead internal communications for culture/transformation; define GSQ messaging for Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS topics.
- Deliver leadership communications (strategic narratives, executive messaging, presentations, town halls, leadership meetings).
- Provide communications leadership for major initiatives (e.g., organizational change, M&A, issues management).
- Build communicator and leader capability (alignment, coaching, standards, governance, best practices).
- Use insights and measurement (KPIs, tracking, continuous improvement).

Skills required / Qualifications
- 15+ years pharmaceutical communications experience; manufacturing/quality plus; global regulations and stakeholder expectations.
- Degree in communications management, public relations, journalism, digital communications, health economics, biomedical sciences, or related field.
- Strong analytical/planning/organizational skills and judgment; ability to counsel/influence leadership.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication; executive-level English (near-native).
- Cultural intelligence; strong stakeholder management/networking; resilient in change/ambiguity.
- Ability to deliver under pressure and meet short deadlines.
