Role Summary

The VP of Global Pricing, Value & Access will be responsible for leading global pricing, access and value strategies to maximize patient access and long-term value for Teva’s neurology and immunology portfolio of medicines, translating scientific innovation into long-term brand and business value. This key leadership role is accountable for developing the global value proposition, value story, dossiers and access and pricing strategies. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across global markets to ensure commercial success and payer alignment. This role can be based in the U.S. headquarters in Parsippany, NJ or the EU headquarters in Haarlem, Netherlands. This role will be a member of the Global Product Strategy (GPS) Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead global pricing, value and access operating model and processes
  • Lead the development of pricing, value and access strategies across key pipeline and inline assets, based on deep insight and market understanding
  • Define the early value propositions and payer narratives to guide clinical and economic evidence generation at critical stage gates in the pipeline
  • Partner with Medical Affairs, and Clinical Development team to align evidence plans with payer needs, to improve probability of reimbursement success globally, while achieving Teva’s innovative portfolio ambition
  • Oversee and support the development of health economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact, etc.), systematic literature reviews, and both retrospective and prospective observational studies, leveraging the latest methodologies and technology
  • Lead the development of global value dossiers and support key HTA submissions for launch assets
  • Establish pricing corridors and manage international reference pricing to optimize long-term brand value, seeking governance approval
  • Monitor and interpret healthcare policy and payer environments, providing strategic guidance to the company to anticipate and adapt to potential impacts
  • Represent Market Access in Asset Maximization and Global Co-creation Teams
  • Lead the Global Value Access Strategy Team to deliver integrated market access plans
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and affiliate teams to embed access strategy into brand planning
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team and cross functional partners, fostering innovation and accountability with a strong “outside in” perspective
  • Engage proactively with external stakeholders, including academic experts, healthcare providers, and payers, to champion the value of our products and drive transformative changes in healthcare practices

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree required (PhD or master’s degree in business, Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy or related field)
  • 20+ years working in the pharma industry with 15+ years of pricing and value & access roles
  • Proven Pricing and Value & Access leader with exceptional track record of delivering with results and leadership
  • Required to have proven success and deep expertise in global access, pricing, or HEOR roles within a pharmaceutical industry – showing a strong understanding of the global payer environment including Health Technology assessments in key markets
  • Experience in Tier 1 markets (US and EU5 experience) required
  • Experience in Specialty Pharma (small patient population e.g. rare disease) preferred, with experience in Neurology and/or Immunology areas strongly preferred
