Key Responsibilities
- Define and advance the future state of U.S. Commercial Insights, Analytics, Forecasting, and related capabilities; build an integrated roadmap.
- Lead analytics, market research, forecasting, and scenario planning to inform brand strategy, launch planning, business reviews, budgeting, latest estimates, and forecasting.
- Drive commercial operations excellence (field enablement, targeting, sales force sizing/structure, territory alignment, incentive planning, CRM, training, meetings, and operating processes).
- Ensure appropriate technology platforms, scalable information systems, and consistent processes.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to commercial and therapeutic area leadership; extract and deliver key insights and implications.
- Collaborate across functions; influence without authority and navigate complexity.
- Partner to align priorities, manage trade-offs, and support portfolio-level enterprise decisions; coach team.
- Communicate complex business dynamics clearly to senior/executive audiences.
- Lead and develop ~120 professionals.

Detailed Functional Scope
- Market Research: deliver customer/market/brand insights; ensure compliant, high-quality primary research.
- Analytics/Sales Analytics: analyze secondary data; elevate data platform; lead reporting cycles (QBRs, Latest Estimates, Annual Budgeting); marketing mix analytics; oversee targeting/field analytics/sales force sizing/territory alignment.
- Forecasting: develop forecasting models and scenario analysis for financial cycles.
- Commercial Operations: oversee field reporting, incentives, CRM, fleet/sample management, training/meetings/events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 16+ years biopharma/pharma experience (14+ years with advanced degree).
- Strong commercial success; HIV/liver disease/oncology/inflammation experience desirable.
- Deep expertise in market research, analytics, forecasting, and translating data into strategy.
- Proven ability to frame complex problems and drive high-impact analytics.
- Enterprise-minded partner; strong communicator to senior/executive audiences.
- Strategic, innovative thinker.
- Financial acumen; experience managing external vendors and measurable impact.
- 8+ years people leadership experience.
