Role: Vice President, CMC Development Technical Strategy, responsible for integrating scientific and technical insights to shape cross-functional strategies across product platforms, technologies, and development stages. Responsibilities: provide technical leadership within the CMC-D Leadership Team, synthesize process, analytical, manufacturing, and quality inputs into strategic recommendations, and guide decision-making on technology, platform, and capability development. Collaborate with portfolio and functional leaders to align technical efforts with corporate goals, and mentor senior scientists and engineers to foster scientific excellence. Requirements: PhD in chemical, biochemical, or pharmaceutical sciences preferred; 20+ years of industry experience in biotech/pharma with broad expertise in process development, manufacturing, analytical, quality, and product lifecycle stages; proven success translating science into scalable development strategies; strong technical judgment and decision-making skills. High-Value: leadership in biologics or mRNA modalities, extensive experience across multiple stages (preclinical to commercialization), deep understanding of GMP processes, process characterization, validation, tech transfer, and platform technologies.
