Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily husbandry to animals (predominantly rodents, some small animal USDA and zebrafish), including clinical observations.
- Maintain animal facilities: sanitation of animal rooms/equipment.
- Receive incoming animals and supplies; fulfill research requests; perform animal transfers/relocations.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory protocols/policies/guidelines; maintain relevant facility/animal records.
- Make independent decisions regarding operational standards/situations.
- Pursue continuous learning/professional development; enhance/expand skill set.
- Support scientific partner needs; may perform limited routine technical procedures on animals.

Role Requirements:
- Onsite only: Cambridge, MA.
- Shift: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday (based on business needs).
- GED/High School required; preferred: 2-year degree in Veterinary Technology or 4-year Science degree (or combination of experience).
- ALAT certification desirable or pursued after start.
- Working knowledge of federal/state/local (Animal Welfare) laws and departmental SOPs.
- Thorough understanding of operational standards/processes/equipment related to responsibilities.
- Strong experience with animals/animal husbandry in a research setting.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., move heavy objects, stand for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Availability for weekend/holiday/inclement weather coverage.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $31.08–$57.75/hour; final offer based on skills/experience.
- Performance-based cash incentive; may be eligible for annual equity awards (role level dependent).
