Statistics Leader will provide leadership and support in biostatistics, statistics, statistical programming, clinical data management, medical writing, and clinical submission for one or more ViiV Healthcare programs.

Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery for medium-scope projects; deliver high-quality statistical contributions on agreed timelines.
- Provide statistical leadership to influence program/study strategy, design options, and development plans.
- Contribute to project planning and direction; prioritize objectives and align statistical strategy with program goals.
- Apply technical expertise and decision-science principles to make evidence-based recommendations and identify/mitigate statistical and data-related risks.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to address complex issues and support milestones.
- Ensure statistical validity and scientific integrity of data dissemination.
- Prepare and deliver headline reports and formal clinical study communications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; represent/defend statistical approaches in peer review and governance.
- Build internal/external networks across ViiV, GSK, and the scientific community.
- Stay current on AI, advanced analytics, and innovative methodologies in HIV drug development.
- Support capability building through training, mentoring, and education.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Statistics (or related) with 4+ years post-degree experience, or MS/MSc in Statistics (or related) with 7+ years clinical development experience.
- Experience supporting clinical development in pharma/biotech/CRO settings.
- Infectious disease experience.
- Statistics experience from study design through final analysis and dissemination.
- Experience with R and/or Python.

Preferred:
- PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics.
- Hands-on statistical modeling/innovative methods (e.g., Bayesian approaches).
- Causal inference and/or AI/ML experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (relationship building).
