External Affairs Community Liaison (EACL), TX
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prioritize, and cultivate a strong network of stakeholders and allied healthcare providers (AHCPs) to keep people living with HIV (PLWH) and individuals seeking HIV prevention engaged in HIV care.
- Strategically plan territory impact each semester using epidemiological, experiential, and demographic insights.
- Implement engagement strategies that improve care access and support ending the HIV epidemic.
- Collaborate with AHCPs to understand evolving HIV priorities and provide resources addressing treatment gaps and barriers.
- Use approved resources for educational engagement with AHCPs, PLWH, and those seeking HIV prevention.
- Gather AHCP insights, host/participate in community listening sessions.
- Manage key accounts (community-based organizations and HIV-focused agencies) and develop account-level strategies.
- Engage grantees to support quarterly project execution; track account performance and material utilization using analytics.
- Identify support/funding for quarterly stakeholder activation plans.
- Deliver presentations (Immersive Learning Experiences) on public/community health concepts.
- Meet community metric/programmatic goals.
Qualifications (Required):
- 3+ years in HIV community work, pharmaceutical engagement, healthcare account management, or public health.
- Experience with community health programs and/or outreach/testing, treatment, prevention, linkage/relinkage to HIV care.
- Experience serving customers in a business environment/management capacity.
- Experience presenting health information to large audiences.
- Ability to interpret/apply epidemiological data to HIV.
- Domestic travel; valid Driver’s License.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Bachelor’s in Public Health/Healthcare Admin/Social Work/Business or related field.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Spanish proficiency; familiarity with ViiV programs/grants.
- Data analytics/business performance tracking; strategic engagement planning.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
