Role Summary

Associate Director, Field Reimbursement Corporate Account, Central North will act as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting ViiV's long-acting injectables to facilitate appropriate patient access. This role prioritizes Key National Strategic Accounts/IDNs and ensures their implementation needs for ViiV Long Acting Injectables are realized. The role involves building a stronger implementation presence in key accounts and developing and orchestrating a top-down integrated implementation approach aligned to the accountโ€™s needs. The Associate Director must effectively navigate complex situations with internal and external customers requiring sound judgment and problem-solving, and influence a cross-functional matrix of stakeholders including Corporate Account Teams, Territory FRMs, Field Sales, and Reimbursement Support Services. The role operates within the Central North region (CO, MN, IA, NE, KS, OK) in a fast-paced, complex environment and requires cross-functional partnership and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities
  • Provide strategic accounts product access/reimbursement expertise
  • Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams and matrix partners
  • Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs
  • Support patient access to the products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s Degree & 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: field reimbursement, key account manager, payer marketing, patient support programs, or reimbursement HUB programs
  • Required: Experience with payer and health systems
  • Required: Experience working with specialty pharmacy, including buy and bill process, Medicare Parts A, B, C, D, Medicaid and Commercial Payers
  • Required: Ability to travel 50%+ of the time
  • Preferred: MBA, MPH or other advanced degree
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access and reimbursement processes
  • Preferred: Proactive implementation execution excellence focused on streamlining and simplifying processes
