Role Summary
The Associate Director, Field Reimbursement Corporate Account, Central North will serve as the subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues for ViiV's long-acting injectables to facilitate patient access. This role will prioritize Key National Strategic Accounts/IDNs and drive implementation needs to realize their requirements. Location: Central North region (CO, MN, IA, NE, KS, OK). The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Account Teams, Territory FRMs, Field Sales, and Reimbursement Support Services to develop and execute an integrated implementation approach.
Responsibilities
- Analyze access/reimbursement issues and opportunities
- Provide strategic accounts product access/reimbursement expertise
- Provide access/reimbursement education to field teams and matrix partners
- Coordinate on access/reimbursement issues with third parties including hubs
- Support patient access to the products by providing subject matter expertise on reimbursement issues that may be barriers to product access
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs Degree & 7 plus years of experience in one or more of the following areas: field reimbursement OR key account manager OR payer marketing OR patient support programs OR reimbursement HUB programs
- Required: Experience with payer and health systems
- Required: Experience working with specialty pharmacy, including buy and bill process, Medicare Parts A, B, C, D, Medicaid and Commercial Payers
- Required: Ability to travel 50% plus of the time
- Preferred: MBA, MPH or other advanced degree
- Preferred: Demonstrated ability to educate offices on access and reimbursement processes.
