Competitive Intelligence
- Lead US competitive intelligence strategy and execution across the full HIV portfolio (in-market brands and pre-launch assets), including developing and prioritizing Key Insights Questions (KIQs).
- Monitor, interpret, and synthesize external competitive signals (clinical data releases, regulatory milestones, approvals/failures, and policy developments).
- Summarize competitor earnings announcements and investor communications, including commercial implications.
- Plan competitive intelligence for congresses (pre-framing, on-site capture, post-conference synthesis).
- Deliver regular CI outputs (alerts, portfolio updates, executive-ready summaries).
- Anticipate competitor strategy/evolution and inform scenario planning.
Market Research
- Lead qualitative and quantitative primary market research for pre-launch brands for HIV Treatment and HIV Prevention.
- Translate business questions and insight gaps into research objectives and study designs.
- Partner with Brand and cross-functional teams (Medical, Market Access) to inform positioning, segmentation, and launch planning.
Research Design & Vendor Management
- Lead external vendors for study design, execution, analysis, and synthesis.
- Ensure research quality, rigor, budget discipline, and on-time delivery.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Insight Communication
- Partner with Brand, Medical Affairs, Market Access to inform commercial decision-making.
- Synthesize and communicate insights to support brand and portfolio decisions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience
- Experience leading competitive intelligence
- Experience with qualitative/quantitative research methodologies
- Experience interpreting competitive signals (clinical, regulatory, earnings/investor comms, scientific congresses)
- Experience operating in ambiguity; managing vendors and multiple projects; engaging senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualification
- Experience in HIV or infectious disease
Relocation
- Domestic relocation package may be considered.
