Responsibilities encompass leading pharmacology strategies (ADME, DDI, PK/PD), supporting IND-enabling studies, managing external labs and collaborators, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves cross-functional partnership with research, clinical, regulatory, and biometrics teams, providing scientific input for study protocols and regulatory submissions, and representing the function in authority interactions. Qualifications: PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent in pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields; 15+ years in biopharma, with senior leadership experience in drug development, translational science, and DMPK/clinical pharmacology. High-value specifics include expertise in clinical pharmacology, biomarker development, early to late-stage clinical program support, and regulatory engagement, with a focus on precision medicine approaches preferred. The position is based in South San Francisco, with onsite or hybrid work arrangements and occasional travel.
