Vice President, Pharmacovigilance

Role: Vice President of Pharmacovigilance to lead Deciphera’s global drug safety functions, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and benefit-risk assessment across investigational and marketed oncology and kinase inhibitor products. Responsibilities: develop and execute global safety strategies, oversee benefit-risk evaluation, safety governance, signal detection, and risk management; serve as safety advisor to executive leadership; ensure inspection readiness; establish scalable pharmacovigilance systems and processes; lead and develop a high-performing organization fostering a culture of scientific excellence and accountability. Qualifications: MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent; 15+ years in pharmacovigilance or drug safety within biotech/pharma, including 8+ years in leadership roles managing global teams; extensive knowledge of global PV regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH, GCP); proven experience with safety governance, regulatory interactions, and inspection readiness. Preferred: oncology experience, support for small molecule therapeutics, global CRO/vendor management, and experience with product lifecycle safety activities.
