Role Summary
The VP of Sales effectively provides direction and coordination of company sales function to meet or exceed the company's expected annual growth rate. The individual in this position also develops and implements the company's sales strategy as well as monitor and analyze sales activity against goals.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and manage sales team to successfully implement sales strategies, develop leads, and drive sales to meet or exceed company goals
- Continuously assess market indicators, consumer trends, competitive activity, and new business development opportunities
- Prepare presentations to management and leadership groups to explain the company's sales position and initiatives
- Provide input and leadership in the development and implementation of sales incentive compensation programs
- Attend trade shows and meet with key customers
- Play a key role in company strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation of traditional, Internet, and programs that attract new clients and contribute towards meeting business goals
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
- Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support Tonix on various business initiatives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated strategic planning and leadership skills
- Experience in Fibromyalgia, pain management, or neuroscience is preferred
- Excellent track record for developing successful sales teams that meet and exceed annual targets
- Dedicated team player who is able to withstand the high demands of a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

Education
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, marketing, or finance; MBA is a plus
- Ten years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing; degree in health-related field, marketing, or finance preferred; MBA is a plus
