Role: Vice President of Peptide Therapeutics leading the development of peptide-based drugs targeting genetic mutations, overseeing discovery, formulation, candidate optimization, and translational research. Responsibilities: define strategic direction, manage scientific teams and external partners, oversee peptide design, synthesis, formulation, and candidate selection; evaluate emerging technologies; ensure program alignment with broader corporate goals; develop project plans, budgets, and collaborations; serve as executive sponsor, communicate progress, and contribute to regulatory and IP strategies. Requirements: Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline; 15+ years in peptide therapeutics, drug discovery, or pharmaceutical development; proven leadership in peptide design, formulation, and preclinical advancement; strong understanding of peptide chemistry, stability, delivery, and developability; experience managing multidisciplinary teams, portfolios, and external partnerships; excellent communication and strategic decision-making skills. Preferred qualifications: expertise in oncology, precision medicine, peptide conjugates, regulatory processes, and computational design; prior experience in biotech or pharma environments with leadership roles in scientific organizations; track record of building or leading therapeutic platforms, securing collaborations, and influencing enterprise strategy. Work setup: likely hybrid or onsite with potential travel for conferences, partner sites, or vendors.
