Role: Vice President, Medical Affairs – North America, responsible for leading the regional Medical Affairs organization to support oncology product commercialization and lifecycle management. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic medical plans, providing scientific leadership for product launches and evidence generation, and ensuring alignment with global strategies. The role involves building high-performing teams, engaging with key external stakeholders such as KOLs and professional societies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial. The VP serves as a strategic advisor to leadership, monitors scientific and healthcare trends, and oversees operational excellence, budget, and compliance. Qualifications: MD, PharmD, PhD, or similar; 15+ years industry experience with 10+ years in Medical Affairs leadership, ideally within oncology. Proven success in leading geographically dispersed teams and developing strategies for product lifecycle management. Strong knowledge of drug development, regulatory requirements, healthcare systems, and external stakeholder engagement. High-value specifics include oncology focus, experience with product launches and evidence generation, and leadership within complex, global matrix organizations. The role reports to the SVP, GMA, and involves building external relationships, representing the company at scientific forums, and fostering a patient-centric, compliant culture. Location: North America, with a competitive salary range of $352K–$442K, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
