Vice President, Medical

Role: Vice President, Medical leading clinical development for a biotech focused on rare diseases, specifically Friedreich’s ataxia. Responsibilities: guide medical strategy across all clinical programs, support data interpretation with Statistics, liaise with Safety and Medical Affairs, review and approve clinical documents, represent medical in internal/external forums, supervise staff and contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and engage with external stakeholders. Requirements: MD or D.O. with 10+ years pharma experience, preferably in neurology or rare diseases; strong track record in Phase 2/3 studies, medical monitoring, and scientific communications; thorough understanding of GCP, evidence generation, and healthcare regulations. Preferred: experience in neurology, rare diseases, and Medical Affairs activities.
