Position Overview:
- Leads the Marketing Department; develops and executes marketing strategy for FUROSCIX and other products.
- Owns strategic planning and launch readiness with market access, sales, medical affairs, finance, and field operations.
- Develops annual strategic and operating plans, including financial forecasts, analytics, and budget management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage complex department(s)/programs to meet corporate goals; influence and execute companywide goals.
- Create and maintain department budgets; increase input into company strategy.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for product marketing capabilities.
- Lead development and execution of the Launch Plan, including contingency planning for a virtual first launch; drive cross-functional launch success.
- Lead marketing/brand strategy for FUROSCIX and future products; oversee branded and disease-state tactics and digital strategy to support HCP and patient adoption.
- Lead differentiated product positioning, integrated messaging, and branded campaigns.
- Oversee market research and medical education; analyze customer insights, refine segmentation/targeting, and translate stakeholder behavioral/emotional drivers into tactics.
- Ensure effective Agency of Record management; align with vendor groups to support initiatives.
- Identify barriers to adoption by stakeholder group and develop strategies/tactics to address them.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, training, market access, medical, regulatory, supply chain) for successful launches.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key national thought leaders.
- Monitor/control expenses to budget; make trade-off decisions to adjust investments based on commercial value.
- Attract, hire, coach, and develop marketing talent.
- Align with sales leadership on field directives, national meetings, and training.
- Lead strategic market development for new products (market assessments, study design input, target profiles, pricing/reimbursement assessment, revenue forecasting, patient segmentation).

Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor’s required; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years biotech/pharma experience; 7+ years product management/marketing; 4+ years leadership/people management.
- Proven track record in product launches and effective sales training execution.
- Knowledge of forecasting, pricing, and analytics; ability to oversee modeling and dashboards.
- Proven brand management expertise.
- Experience leading teams of brand managers and analysts.
- Success with multi-channel marketing campaigns using defined performance metrics (awareness, conversion, lead generation).
- Success conducting primary market research for business development and brand evolution.
- Successful management of multiple products (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharma legal/regulatory environment for promotion and ability to implement into brand planning.
