Position Summary
- Vice President, Legal – Lead Commercial Counsel. Lead the commercial legal function and support the expected first U.S. product launch for obexelimab; serve as trusted strategic partner and SME to Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Patient Support. Report to the Chief Legal Officer; based in Waltham, MA.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as key legal partner/SME to commercial and medical teams.
- Provide legal advice on pre-launch and launch strategy (medical/field activities, disease awareness, sales, marketing/brand messaging, marketing analytics, patient advocacy, advisory boards, incentive compensation, and other commercial activities).
- Counsel market access on pricing, reimbursement, distribution, contracting structures; advise on payer engagement issues (PIE, FDAMA 114); draft/lead market access and patient support agreements; advise patient support on hub/service legal issues.
- Review content and messaging for Promotional Review Committee, Medical Legal Regulatory Review Committee, Publications Review Committee, ISR reviews, grants/sponsorships committees, and similar bodies.
- Train applicable personnel.
- Oversee outside counsel; conduct/respond to diligence for financings and business development; review external corporate content (e.g., press releases).
- Support Compliance by advising on compliance obligations; evolve the U.S. compliance program; coordinate training; support AKS/FCA and industry-code policy/SOP development.
- Coordinate cross-functional legal support with business, Legal, and Compliance.

Qualifications
- JD required; 12+ years relevant biopharmaceutical industry legal experience (biotech preferred; compliance experience helpful).
- Deep knowledge of FDA promotional regulations, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, OIG guidance, and industry codes; stay current on enforcement priorities.
- Experience supporting Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Support.
- Experience reviewing promotional/medical materials as a legal reviewer.
- Ability to interpret/apply healthcare laws to complex business activities.
- Launch planning and cross-functional review committee experience (first U.S. launch preferred).
- Strong business partnering; excellent written/verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.

Benefits/Compensation
- Eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package (base salary range: $272,000–$340,000; plus bonus, equity, full benefits, and other incentives).
