Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a best-in-class Clinical Development & Medical Affairs team; coach and develop staff; foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Drive therapeutic area growth by aligning regional and global resources with key franchise priorities.
- Develop cross-functional medical strategy aligned with and supportive of commercial strategy; partner with Commercial to shape portfolio strategy.
- Own key interfaces with global franchise teams: support therapeutic-area business plans, patient-centric product/service strategy, best-practice sharing, two-way feedback, regional input into pre-launch/launch, and US updates on initiatives/outcomes and resource/talent allocation.
- Partner with Global Development to set Clinical Development & Medical Affairs direction across development and lifecycle; provide US input into global clinical development plans.

Essential Requirements:
- MD/PharmD/PhD (or bachelor’s/equivalent acceptable).
- 12+ years progressively senior experience in clinical development or medical affairs (pharma/biotech/academic).
- 5+ years people management/team leadership experience (preferred).
- 3+ years experience in immunology/respiratory in pharma.
- Deep US healthcare knowledge (payor/access, trends) and understanding of good promotional practices (PhRMA/OIG/ABPI) and independent medical education (ACCME).
- Strong clinical research experience (protocol development, trial operations, patient recruitment).
- Expertise in health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence.
- Demonstrated enterprise-level influence.

Desirable Requirements:
- Board-certified medical degree.
- Experience presenting at major international medical congresses.
