What You'll Do
- Corporate Strategy & Competitive Intelligence: Own corporate strategy with the CEO (annual priorities, resource allocation, multi-year roadmaps); monitor external landscape (competitive dynamics, scientific advances, regulatory shifts, AI-in-biotech) and synthesize implications; define and communicate platform differentiation for investor/partner/board narratives; evaluate BD opportunities (partnerships, licensing, acquisitions, platform expansions).
- Executive Operations & Decision-Making: Design and manage executive operating rhythm (leadership meetings, offsites, decision forums, escalation frameworks); partner with CEO on agendas, briefing materials, and cross-functional follow-through; build dashboards/frameworks for real-time visibility into performance, program progress, and strategic KPIs; identify organizational gaps and implement scalable solutions; act as CEO proxy in cross-functional forums.
- Board, Investor & External Communications: Lead board materials (strategic updates, financial reviews, program readouts, governance docs); support earnings communications, SEC filings, and investor presentations with Finance/Legal/IR; ensure narrative consistency across external communications.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment: Bridge Platform, Discovery, Clinical, Commercial, Finance, and People teams; partner with Director of Strategy & Operations and Portfolio Strategy to align execution with corporate priorities; champion clarity, accountability, and disciplined execution.

The Experience You'll Need
- Advanced degree required; MBA from a top-tier program strongly preferred (life sciences/data science or related background preferred).
- 6+ years at a leading management consulting firm at Principal/Associate Partner/Partner level with deep biopharma/biotech/healthcare exposure.
- Significant in-house strategy/corporate development/operations experience in pharma/biotech.
- Strong familiarity with AI platforms/ML/digital health tools.
- Track record shaping executive strategy, leading complex initiatives, influencing without authority.
- Experience preparing/presenting board materials, earnings/investor presentations, and/or regulatory filings.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and storytelling skills; high EQ and political acumen; adaptability in fast-moving environments.

Working Location & Compensation
- Hybrid, office-based role in New York City; work in office at least 50% of the time.
- Estimated annual base: $321,860–$385,990 (USD); eligible for annual bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits package.
