THE OPPORTUNITY
Vice President/Head of Biometrics to lead the biostatistics, statistical programming, and clinical data management functions.
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced, innovative statistical concepts across drug development programs (clinical to commercialization).
- Lead, mentor, and develop biostatistics, programming, and clinical data teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Lead statistical efforts to secure regulatory approvals.
- Partner with relevant functions to provide statistical input into clinical development strategy, design, and execution.
- Drive biostatistical components of major deliverables (regulatory submissions, original articles, abstracts) and presentations.
- Create a clinical data science roadmap and apply real-world data (RWD) analytics to inform clinical development.
- Manage departmental budget and resource allocation.
Who You Are And What You Bring
- PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (required).
- 15+ years of biotech/pharma experience in immunology, infectious diseases, and/or oncology (required).
- Demonstrated leadership plus project, budget, and people management experience.
- Experience across all phases of drug development with strong cross-functional understanding (end-to-end development and regulatory filings).
- Extensive BLA/NDA/MAA submission experience and experience negotiating with health authorities (required).
Compensation/Benefits & Application Instructions
- Expected salary range: $325,000–$365,000/year.
- Full-time benefits include compensation, bonus and equity, health/welfare plans, paid time off, company holiday shut down, commuter benefits, 401K match, and lunch in the office.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; company cannot sponsor/take over visa sponsorship at this time.
