Role Summary

Vice President, Global Supply Chain Planning, Electrophysiology โ€” Irvine, California. Lead end-to-end strategic direction of the Electrophysiology Supply Chain Plan organization, driving transformational change, orchestrating cross-functional planning, and managing day-to-day planning activities including demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory management, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, and reinforce an inspiring vision and strategy to deliver best in class end-to-end planning capabilities to support the Electrophysiology business.
  • Ensure the vision delivers customer connectivity and seamless integration with speed and agility through a deep understanding of global customer needs.
  • Embed the latest technology, systems, automation and digital capacities into the operating model to implement the vision and strategies.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across Supply Chain and Commercial teams to translate customer needs to product requirements and planning activities.
  • Plan product needs to meet customer demand in a global operation with emphasis on continuous performance improvement.
  • Deliver reliable supply with appropriate metrics and ensure rapid response to events and issues with root-cause analysis.
  • Optimize inventory management and cash, minimize E&O and SLOB, and drive forecast accuracy improvements linked to sales and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain agility with relevant metrics for strategic products and share benchmarks across the enterprise.
  • Integrate planning for acquisitions/divestitures and ensure accurate data visibility through robust MDM processes.
  • Translate customer needs to supply points and drive standardization and SCOR-based process improvements.
  • Ensure effective demand and supply planning processes, S&OP execution, and portfolio management activities.
  • Maintain robust New Product Launch planning to balance reliability and inventory requirements.
  • Provide data and analytics to generate performance insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate on business continuity, resilience, and network optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders from sales force to senior management as needed.

Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree or equivalent highly preferred.
  • Minimum 12 yearsโ€™ experience in a complex supply chain environment, including production, planning, supply chain, quality, procurement, new product introduction, and strategy.
  • Advanced understanding of end-to-end supply chain, preferably in Medical Device Industry with strong financial understanding.
  • Strong international experience.
  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, GDP).
  • Track record of influencing external environment and delivering value across multiple functions, businesses, and markets.
  • Experience leading through change initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or restructurings.
  • Ability to identify partnerships and manage complex relationships (licensing, co-promotion, acquisitions).
  • Commitment to quality and compliance, with strong accountability for actions.

  • Implement global standards while maintaining strong regional execution and business connection.
