Role: Vice President, Global Medical Operations at Stoke Therapeutics, responsible for establishing and leading the operational infrastructure and processes to ensure efficient, compliant, and strategic delivery of Global Medical Affairs activities. Responsibilities include designing operating models, managing budgets and resources, overseeing vendor and funding processes, implementing and optimizing medical systems and data platforms, and supporting launch and lifecycle management of RNA-based therapies for CNS and ocular indications. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, and IT teams, with a focus on operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Advanced degree in a scientific, medical, pharmacy, public health, or business discipline; 12+ years in biopharma, with extensive leadership experience in Medical Affairs strategy and operations across multiple assets or geographies. Proven success in transforming operational models, managing complex budgets, implementing digital and data solutions, and leading organizational change. Experience supporting pre-launch or launch-stage assets, especially in rare diseases, neurology, ophthalmology, or high-growth biotech sectors, is preferred. The position is based in Massachusetts with a hybrid work setup, requiring approximately 10% travel, including international conference presence. High-value specifics: leadership in Medical Affairs for RNA therapies, CNS and eye indications, global launch and lifecycle management, GxP and regulatory compliance, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
