Position: VP of Global and US Market Access
What You Will Own
- Global Value, Pricing & Access Strategy: develop/lead the framework for demonstrating and communicating product value to payers, HTAs, and health systems globally; coordinate with a global pharmaceutical partner to align international access strategies
- US Payer Strategy & Execution: design payer engagement strategies to secure broad, sustainable reimbursement
- Patient Support Services: build programs to remove access barriers and ensure patients can start and stay on therapy
- Pricing & Contracting: develop pricing architecture and contracting strategies balancing access, value, and business sustainability
- Trade & Channel Management: oversee specialty pharmacy, distributor, and GPO plan to ensure reliable product availability
- Health Systems & Key Accounts: develop strategic engagement plans with IDNs, academic medical centers, and high-value accounts
How Youβll Work
- Serve on the Commercial Leadership Team; partner with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Analytics to align commercial strategy
- Primary Market Access point of contact with global strategic partner for value messaging, access strategy, and access timelines
- Lead launch readiness planning across access functions
- Collaborate with HEOR and Medical Affairs on value proposition, evidence generation, and economic models
- Use data/analytics to measure impact and sharpen strategy
- Advise senior leadership/Board on market trends and policy shifts; partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Accounting to ensure strategies are sound and compliant
- Contribute market access expertise to early-pipeline planning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in pharma/biotech; 5β7+ years in senior market access leadership
- Deep expertise in payer strategy, pricing, contracting, trade, and patient services
- Hematology/oncology experience highly preferred
- Experience with complex partnerships/co-commercialization with large pharma; strong cross-functional coordination
- Ability to build/lead internal and field-based teams in fast-growth environments; decisive, collaborative, compliant culture
- Exceptional communication with field teams, C-suite, and Board
- Location: onsite preferred
Salary: $325Kβ$365K plus bonus and equity.
