Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (VP, FP&A)

What You’ll Do
- Lead the enterprise FP&A function; establish short- and long-term financial plans aligned with the highest-value strategic priorities.
- Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; manage performance against plan and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as a senior finance business partner to executive leadership across clinical development, manufacturing, partnerships, commercial, and key strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Accounting on collaboration and partnership financials (quarter-end activities, external funding applications, reporting, and partner-facing budget management).
- Maintain and continuously refine the internal valuation and scenario-modeling framework.
- Lead, develop, and scale an FP&A team for portfolio investment analysis and strategic financial support for R&D.
- Advance financial analytics, reporting, and systems to support executive/Board/investor/partner decision-making and assist with internal/business development valuations.
- Design and implement process and reporting enhancements to improve transparency, discipline, and decision quality.

Who You Are and What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; 15+ years progressive finance leadership experience.
- MBA and/or CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Deep experience supporting biotech/pharma R&D, including development economics and portfolio decision-making.
- Valuation, scenario modeling, and capital allocation expertise in complex/uncertain environments.
- Commercial financial planning expertise in biotech/pharma.
- Executive leadership skills; build/lead teams and partner cross-functionally.
- Strong systems orientation with planning/forecasting/ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX-compliant environments.

Compensation/Benefits
- Expected salary range: $300,000–$350,000.
- Full-time employees receive compensation, bonus, and equity plus benefits/perks including health and welfare plans, non-accrual paid time off, holiday shutdown, commuter benefits, 401(k) match, and lunch in the office.
