Vice President, Data Governance Officer

Role: Vice President, Data Governance Officer, leading enterprise-wide data governance initiatives for diagnostics, biopharma laboratory services, and corporate functions. Responsibilities: develop strategies and frameworks ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GxP, CLIA, CAP, FDA, GDPR; oversee data quality, standards (e.g., HGVS, LOINC, SNOMED), interoperability, and reporting; manage governance tools and integrate processes across LIS, EHRs, genomics, and bioinformatics platforms; lead a team of data stewards and collaborate with clinical, research, IT, and compliance stakeholders to embed robust data management practices supporting precision medicine and operational efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's in Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field; 5+ years in healthcare data governance, with deep knowledge of genomics, oncology data, and laboratory operations; experience with healthcare data standards, regulatory frameworks, and bioinformatics platforms. Preferred: Master’s degree, relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, CHDA), experience with NGS, molecular pathology, cloud genomics (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and AI-driven precision medicine.
