Role Responsibilities:
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for applying AI across the commercial organization; build a prioritized AI portfolio with clear business value and a credible path to delivery.
- Lead end-to-end delivery from concept through production and adoption: set priorities, sequence work, resolve dependencies, and make trade-off decisions on scope, investment, and pace.
- Build and lead a multi-disciplinary organization (senior directors/directors, program leaders, engineers, data scientists, product leaders); attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Lead vendors and delivery partners: define work, set standards, manage performance and spend, and retain critical capability/IP within Pfizer.
- Ensure initiatives leverage shared platforms, data, and engineering standards; drive reuse and prevent duplication/fragmentation.
- Influence senior business and functional leaders; provide consultative guidance, education, and direction.
- Lead the shift to AI-enabled ways of working; partner on capability building, new roles, and leadership development.
- Embed responsible AI governance, controls, and accountability aligned with legal/regulatory/compliance/privacy/quality requirements.
- Track industry/technology developments and prioritize/evolve Pfizerโ€™s approach.

Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years progressive leadership in technology/data/AI/digital/product delivery, including senior leadership of large multi-disciplinary organizations.
- Significant pharma/life sciences/healthcare industry experience and understanding of sales/marketing/medical commercial environment and regulatory context.
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale technology/AI programs from strategy through adoption with measurable business impact.
- Experience leading teams that build and operate production AI/ML and data products; set technical direction/standards.
- Demonstrated large-scale transformation in complex matrixed enterprises.
- Experience establishing/scaling new capabilities/products from the ground up.
- Experience building senior teams and attracting top technical/product talent.
- Budget ownership and managing large vendor/partner portfolios.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep AI/ML plus generative and agentic AI expertise for commercial value.
- Direct experience with pharma/healthcare commercial functions.
- Familiarity with enterprise data/platform/AI governance at scale.
- Recognized leadership in applied AI/transformation; global multi-region experience.
