Role: Senior clinical leader responsible for shaping and executing clinical development strategies across metabolic liver disease programs, including MASH. Responsibilities: leading cross-functional teams from preclinical through late-stage trials, developing clinical and translational strategies, overseeing regulatory interactions and submissions, and integrating functions like biomarker development, CMC, and safety. Managing program timelines, budgets, and external partnerships, while fostering scientific rigor and operational excellence. Qualifications: MD or DO with 10–15+ years in clinical development, including leadership of early and late-phase programs, and experience with regulatory filings (INDs, NDAs). Strong background in translational medicine, biomarkers, and global regulatory engagement. Preferred: Board certification in internal medicine, gastroenterology, hepatology, or endocrinology, with extensive experience in metabolic or liver disorders. High-value specifics: Focus on MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis, Phase 3, and ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial for cirrhosis; expertise in biologics or small molecules targeting liver disease; global regulatory interactions; cross-functional collaboration with biomarker and CMC teams.
