Vice President, Clinical Development

Role: Vice President, Clinical Development (Nephrology), responsible for strategic and operational oversight of rare kidney disease programs across Phases 1-4. Responsibilities: serve as Global Development Physician Lead within Program Strategy Teams, develop clinical trial protocols, guide clinical/scientific strategy, and ensure regulatory alignment. Lead cross-functional collaborations with Biometrics, Medical Affairs, and external stakeholders; represent programs to executive leadership; and mentor clinical staff. Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD with nephrology training and 12+ years in clinical research, including 8+ years in leadership roles; experience with NDA/BLA submissions preferred. High-Value: Rare kidney diseases, nephrology focus, phases 1-4, clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, cross-functional leadership, and global program management.
