Role: Vice President, Clinical Development (Nephrology), overseeing global clinical programs for rare kidney disease across Phases 1-4. Objectives include leading clinical strategy, program execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities: serve as global development physician lead within PST, develop protocols and scientific strategies, engage with regulators and KOLs, mentor staff, and represent programs at external scientific forums. Qualifications: M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., 12+ years in clinical research with 8+ years leadership, nephrology experience and NDA/BLA submission expertise preferred. High-Value: rare kidney diseases, clinical development Phases 1-4, biologics or small molecules, GxP, regulatory interaction, and cross-functional leadership. Work setup: hybrid, based in San Diego with up to 25-30% domestic and international travel.
