Role Summary
Vertex Fall Co-op 2026, DTE (Data, Technology, and Engineering) is a six-month experiential training program for students pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree. Responsibilities
- Commercial Technology Business Analyst: Work with the Veeva CRM team and cross-functional partners to identify and understand the key functionality of the Global Veeva CRM platform at Vertex, helping ensure scalability and health of the Field CRM program.
- CPEAO & MWS: Support applications used to prepare, review, and manage clinical/regulatory/medical communications and publications; contribute to project teams with requirements gathering, business analysis, implementation, or maintenance of a system or tool.
- G&A, Financial Applications: Support financial applications enabling the organization to function financially by supporting the technology behind investing, banking, procurement, and other operational capabilities; tasks include implementation, automation, reporting, maintenance, configuration, audit, and more.
- GMDA, GCO, and Clinical Development: Support the build and configuration of the Business Analysis process and delivery of business requirements for projects within Clinical Operations; help organize requirements gathering across Clinical Trial Capabilities and GCO DTE Projects, including implementation, reporting, and configuration.
- Marketing Technology: Serve as a technical resource for supporting the DTE Commercial MarTech team across Web, Email, and Content platforms; assist with global implementation projects and platform enhancements across Commercial, Medical, and Corporate Communications.
- Project Management & Strategic Operations Business Analyst: Collaborate with IT and business teams to refine project reporting, improve data accuracy, and optimize processes within project management tools and systems.
- Project Management & Strategic Operations Knowledge Management: Contribute to streamlining document management, optimize the knowledge repository in Microsoft Teams, and organize project artifacts.
- Quality Regulatory: Contribute to the DTE Quality & Regulatory team, assisting with requirements gathering, technology assessments, change control support, and report development.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future. Vertex does not provide sponsorship for internships or entry level roles within this part of the organization.
- You must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before December 2026
- You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from July – December 2026
