Your Impact
- 6-month experiential co-op program for students pursuing an undergraduate degree or advanced degree.
- Assist Vertex’s Commercial Technology IT team (Data, Technology, & Engineering, DTE) with managing, planning, and executing key projects supporting the commercial platform and operations.
Responsibilities
- Support rollout of new technologies to global commercial hospital partners.
- Coordinate and implement federated login functionality in the US and Canada.
- Support development/implementation of operational KPIs for the Commercial, Patient and External Affairs Technology team.
- Provide business analysis support for the main external platform.
- Prepare presentation decks and documents for key meetings.
- Maintain project plans and status reports.
- Manage general documentation.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Entering Senior Year of Undergraduate School or pursuing a Master’s degree or MBA.
- Degree in Information Technology and/or Business-related field.
- Interest in information technology, project management, or life sciences operations.
- Experience with MS Office (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, Project, Visio, etc.).
- Planning/organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication.
- Prior internship experience (plus).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week) July–December 2026.
Program Details / Benefits
- Full-time paid co-op: $25.00–$55.00 USD/hour; hybrid eligible (3 days onsite).
