Vertex Fall Co-op 2026, Application and Product Management

Role Summary

Co-op in Application & Product Management within Vertex's DTE team. You will support the product lifecycle for HR applications by gathering user feedback, analyzing performance, assisting with feature planning, and helping launches. The role provides mentorship and exposure to both strategic and tactical product management responsibilities during a six-month program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality product features.
• Conduct research and analysis to support product development and decision-making.
• Assist in testing and quality assurance to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical specifications to support team operations.
• Participate in product meetings, conduct user research, maintain product documentation, and use data to inform product decisions.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to ensure team alignment and progress tracking.
• Assist in organizing and scheduling Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Support the team in identifying and addressing blockers to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Track and document sprint progress using sprint boards and generate relevant reports.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and majoring in Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field
• Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future. Please note that Vertex does not provide sponsorship for internships or entry level roles within this part of the organization.
• You must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before December 2026
• You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from July – December 2026
