Your Impact
- The Vertex’s AI and Governance co-op program is a 6-month experiential training program for students pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree in Information Systems or similar fields.
What You Will Be Doing
- Innovate with Agentic AI Solutions: Collaborate with business and technical teams to design and build AI-driven solutions that streamline and automate information gathering, requirement definition, and project documentation.
- Be the Bridge Between Teams: Liaison between business stakeholders and data platform teams, driving data cataloging and improving user experience of tools such as Collibra and Data Marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Developing AI Solutions:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for Agentic AI solutions.
- Design/build tools to automate information gathering, requirement definition, and project documentation.
- Test and refine agents to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Deliverables: 1–2 agents for Engg Governance team throughput/efficiency.
- Driving Data Governance Initiatives:
- Support data cataloging by partnering with business teams to organize and document data assets.
- Provide input to Collibra and Data Marketplace teams to enhance UX for business users.
- Deliverables: Catalog 1 functional domain with KPIs, business terminology, and data products.
- Other expectations: Participate in meetings/reviews; liaison between teams; communicate progress and challenges.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Systems or related field.
- Basic understanding of Agentic AI frameworks/tools.
- Curiosity and hands-on experience building AI agents.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no internship/entry-level sponsorship).
- Full-time availability (40 hours/week) July–December 2026.
Program Details / Benefits
- Full-time, paid co-op: $20.00–35.00 USD/hour; July–December 2026.
