Role: Verification Authorization Associate responsible for verifying insurance coverage, obtaining facility and specimen collection info, and securing preauthorizations to facilitate patient services compliance with CMS regulations. Responsibilities: review and ensure completeness of insurance data, interact with insurance companies and facilities for authorizations and medical records, monitor work quality, answer provider/staff inquiries, and manage task assignments, with occasional peer training. Requirements: high school diploma, 2+ years office experience, proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with insurance processing, CPT, ICD-10, and healthcare regulations, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and adapt to change. Preferred: bachelor's degree, 3+ years in related industry, professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service focus.
