Operations
Rotating Day Shift (5am–5pm) – 5% shift differential.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support operations at BMS Devens: Biologics (large scale commercial, clinical, cell bank, development/lab) and CAR-T manufacturing.
- Coordinate maintenance services to complete production maintenance (PMs, PDMs, work orders, safety inspections, area projects, equipment/systems support).
- Develop/enhance systems, practices, and procedures; troubleshoot routine/unusual technical/admin issues.
- Manage maintenance tools; develop/approve SOPs and technical documentation.
- Partner with Spare Parts to ensure correct materials/parts for corrective activities.
- Support maintenance-related Quality Events investigations/resolutions; support risk mitigations, root-cause and corrective actions.
- Lead team activities, provide feedback, develop personnel, manage performance.
- Develop/implement KPIs and goals for World-Class Maintenance; participate in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
- Maintain job plans; ensure EHS and cGMP compliance; process QEs, CAPAs, and audit responses.
- Ensure R&M data is captured on work orders; support uninterrupted Facilities operational activities; cross-train/back up.
- Maintain system documentation; analyze systems and take corrective actions; ensure safe hazardous materials handling; maintain clean/safe workplace; report equipment/supply issues.
Knowledge and Skill / Qualifications:
- BS in engineering or related; 5+ years in Maintenance/Operations of Clean Utilities and/or Biologic Process Manufacturing/manufacturing equipment support.
- Support FDA/EMEA (and other) audits; prior lead experience.
- Knowledge of Maximo/CMMS; engineering principles; automation systems.
- Experience in SOP/cGMP environments; adaptable; strong analytical and communication skills.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Devens, MA: $114,100–$138,267 (additional incentive may apply).
