The Position / Responsibilities:
- Support and improve facility maintenance (preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, new equipment installation)
- Support and participate in plant shutdown activities for Facilities/Utility equipment
- Coach and participate in A3/3C problem solving
- Support training for junior team members
- Support consistent operation, maintenance, and response for plantwide refrigeration systems
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on assigned processes
- Manage individual training plan
- Document maintenance activities in SAP and communicate via shift turnover reports
- Partner with process owners to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Perform routine cleaning and maintain housekeeping in assigned areas
- Execute site rounds and independently inspect utility equipment
- Drive continuous improvement using cLEAN concepts
- Support development of maintenance procedures, maintenance plans, and spare parts lists
- Instruct other technicians in specialized areas and learn new systems
- Lead teams in Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) and Root Cause Analysis
- Participate in shutdown planning/execution
- Interpret mechanical/electrical specifications, drawings, and technical data sheets
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and training for site utilities systems/controls
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Required):
- Associateโ€™s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university
- Minimum 4 years of experience/knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts, night shifts, extended shifts, and/or weekends
- Proficiency reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documents
- Computer literacy

Qualifications (May consider / Preferred):
- High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years experience/knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems
- Ability to lead and guide fellow technicians (preferred)
- Experience with automated records systems (SAP/CMMS) (preferred)
- Systematic data/facts-based troubleshooting and driven event response (required/preferred)
- HVAC/R: Air handling equipment, exhaust fans, leak detection/repair, control wiring knowledge (required)
- EPA 608, HEPA filtration/air balancing, ammonia/CO2 refrigeration, CARO/RETA certification (preferred)

Physical Requirements (Summary):
- Lift/move up to 33 lbs; be on feet up to 12-hour shift; may require ladders/elevated heights, gloves, confined spaces, cold environments, loud noise protection, and working outdoors; powered industrial truck driving exam required (no valid driverโ€™s license required).
