USAC Procurement Sr Specialist, Filling & Chemical Services

Role: USAC Filling & Chemical Services Senior Specialist within Procurement, responsible for strategic category management and sourcing of Filling and Chemical Services across USAC. Responsibilities include leading category strategies, supplier negotiations, cost savings initiatives, supply resilience, and supporting new product launches through supplier alignment. The role involves managing complex sourcing projects, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations involving sophisticated commercial models, with an emphasis on cost reduction, working capital improvement, and digitalization of procurement processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business; 10+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or engineering, with significant experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost savings. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting chemical or third-party manufacturing environments, strong negotiation and project management skills, data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with SAP, automation, analytics, and AI tools. The role is on-site at Maplewood, MN, with travel up to 10%, and may include relocation assistance. The position supports the development of supply chain resilience and procurement digital transformation within a global industrial setting, emphasizing supplier collaboration, cost optimization, and process automation.
