With extremely successful launch of Vyndamax for the treatment of patients with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), Pfizer cemented its position as a global leader in the field of ATTR-amyloidosis. Vyndamax represents US Commercial priority brands, the anchor brand for the Specialty Care. Midway through the life cycle the competitive landscape has 2 entrants in an 18 month time frame. The Business Acceleration Team (BAT) framework, investment management, and analytics are essential to maintain the momentum behind this megablockbuster (>3.7B in annual sales).

What You Will Achieve

This colleague will be responsible for key marketing workstreams related to Project Ways of Working (Pwow) BATs and promotional expense management for the entire brand team. In addition, this colleague will provide support for strategy and operations initiatives to maximize performance across customer segments. This colleague will be directly responsible for conducting the following key initiatives:

  • Budget Management including financial reporting and forecasting
  • Project based ways of working (Pwow) project management and workstream support related to investment
  • Buy up and tasking management
  • Lead OPEX planning and tactical execution for OP process.

This role will require strong analytical ability, coupled with sufficient knowledge of business/finance analysis tools and methods. This colleague will be expected to support the brand team in an efficient and timely manner regarding finance deliverables, execution of marketing tactics and resolution of invoicing discrepancies.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Budget Captain with full ownership of quarterly forecasting & reconciliation process
  • Responsible for project creation, tracking and system maintenance
  • Cross-functional coordination with marketing/finance/agencies on LEs, buy-ups, accruals, and invoice documentation
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution in response to budget and billing discrepancies
  • Op Plan and Tactical Plan support on investment breakdown and rationale
  • ROI Champion to build robust tracking and recommendation platform ensuring brand investments are maximizing impact to the business and delivering BAT objectives.
  • Project Ways of Working (Pwow) support and project management for BATs
  • Field force inventory lead for all Promos/Veeva resources
  • Assist strategic brand planning lead with day-to-day operational support.

Qualifications

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  • Takes initiative and works pro-actively
  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Requires strong understanding of Finance systems and processes to achieve assigned work combined business acumen and demonstrated flexibility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate internal organization/processes and begin influencing key stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Competency with spreadsheets (comfortable with data manipulation & customizing reports)
  • Knowledge of various financial systems and financial reporting aspects (ePA3 and Ariba)

  • Marketing experience preferred.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $102,900.00 to $171,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizerโ€™s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
