Role Responsibilities:
- Lead consumer insights development and Prevnar adult consumer strategy; translate patient research into briefs, claims, and creative direction.
- Lead branded Prevnar adult advertising: brief development, agency direction, claims support, RC navigation; manage branded media plan and MROI-based budget reallocations.
- Own the top of funnel for Prevnar Adult; contribute to weekly brand discussions, strategy development, and cross-functional decisions.
- Partner with CMO on unbranded pneumococcal disease education campaigns; align unbranded strategy with business objectives while ensuring coordinated pull-through.
- Collaborate on unbranded go-to-market planning (channel prioritization, buy-up/cut-back decisions, MROI-informed investment reallocation).
- Partner with Pfizer BAI to ensure consumer tactics are measurable; drive asset improvement.
- Manage brand consumer budget and resource allocation across branded/unbranded tactics.
- Lead competitive assessment (competitor advertising, claims evolution, market dynamics).
- Align with other Vaccines Consumer Marketing leads; partner with Retail marketing to ensure in-store/patient-facing touchpoints reflect the strategy.
- Coach colleagues in a model requiring mentorship/synchronization (no official reporting responsibility).
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 8+ yrs OR MA/MS + 7+ yrs OR PhD/PharmD + 5+ yrs.
- Consumer marketing strategy across digital/traditional channels; branded advertising development and regulatory review familiarity (RC/MLR).
- Stakeholder engagement to drive behavior change; market development/customer experience/segmentation.
- Strategic/analytical business acumen; cross-functional project management.
- Compliance-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; 10+ yrs consumer marketing.
- Vaccines experience; retail/pharmacy marketing and trade-partner collaboration.
- Matrixed org experience; innovation mindset; comfort with ambiguity; agile and boundary-pushing.
