Position Summary
- The US Medical Director, Health System & Payer Engagement leads end-to-end scientific resource and engagement enablement across Health System and Payer MOSL teams, developing field-facing scientific, outcomes, and value-based resources to support engagement with health system decision-makers and payer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead US health system and payer medical engagement strategy across the TTR portfolio, including MOSL-focused scientific engagement, field enablement, and resource planning.
- Develop, support training, and maintain insight-driven field-facing scientific, outcomes, and educational resources.
- Partner cross-functionally (VESt, SAM, HEOR, Market Access, Scientific Communications, Field Medical, US Medical leadership) to align evidence generation and field execution.
- Provide leadership for advisory boards, expert engagements, and MOSL congress activities.
- Lead MRL review and approval of MOSL field medical resources to ensure accuracy, consistency, relevance, and compliance.
- Analyze field insights to identify educational gaps and improve scalability and effectiveness.
- Integrate in-house medical strategy with field execution and access objectives with MOSL leadership, National Accounts, and Market Access.
Qualifications
Required
- Advanced scientific/clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, NP, or PA).
- 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience, including field medical & health system engagement.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional medical initiatives in matrix organizations.
- Strong understanding of field medical strategy/operations, MRL review processes, medical compliance, scientific engagement and evidence communication, and health systems/payer dynamics.
Preferred
- MOSL or health system engagement model experience.
- Familiarity with integrated delivery networks and COEs.
- Cardiovascular (or related) therapeutic area experience.
- Experience supporting launch/growth-stage brands in competitive environments.
