Main Responsibilities
- Serve as US lead for SAP expertise and digital transformation; act as SME for Supply Chain modules (Planning, Procurement, EWM), identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvements.
- Be primary business owner for SAP S/4HANA (iShift) for the US perimeter; propose improvements across the “R&D to GMP” lifecycle.
- Assess progress against financial targets and global digital roadmaps.
- Configure and secure end-to-end internal/external flows with partners (EBIO, IDT).
- Lead UAT and deployment coordination for new feature rollouts and global upgrades.
- Spearhead US RFID deployment: technical support to PD&I teams, vendor integration, and rollout in external 3PL warehouses.
- Lead US Master Data Management (MDM) governance; ensure cGMP and ALCOA+ data integrity compliance.
- Create/configure Material Masters, BOMs, and Resources in SAP S/4HANA; optimize parameters (lead times, safety stocks, procurement types).
- Manage product/material lifecycle with PD&I and Quality; ensure compliant material status transitions from R&D to GMP.
- Optimize MDM logic to accelerate transition to commercial-ready manufacturing.
- Consolidate non-specific raw material demand across US programs; optimize resource allocation and monitor performance vs targets; propose alternatives to avoid supply disruption.
- Standardize SAP workflows with the Business Excellence Manager; provide operational support (procurement orders, GMP receiving, labeling) and train key users.
Education
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years in Pharma/Biotech Supply Chain with SAP Master Data and digital project management.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience creating GMIDs and Material Masters in SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
- Deep “R&D to GMP” lifecycle knowledge; material status impacts procurement/manufacturing logic.
- Familiarity with cGMP data integrity (ALCOA+); experience in a highly regulated pharma/biotech environment.
- Ability to interpret MRP data to set optimal system parameters.

- Strong influencing skills in a matrix environment.
- Ability to quickly recommend alternatives for complex issues.
- High right-first-time accuracy in data entry/parameterization; proactive problem-solving to identify process/data gaps.
