Role Summary

US Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research to join our strong and growing team. This role focuses on the conception and execution of innovative strategies to ensure patients access and commercialization of BridgeBio therapies in the US. The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial and Clinical Development, and support field engagements with payers and population health decision makers to demonstrate the value of BridgeBio therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on the HEOR plan by designing, developing, and completing HEOR-led studies that support commercialization strategies and demonstrate value to key stakeholders
  • Lead development of AMCP Dossiers, Budget Impact Models and other economic tools to support the commercialization of BridgeBio therapies
  • Collaborate with KOLs on study design and authorship to execute HEOR studies and build relationships with Centers of Excellence
  • Support US field team with engagement with payers and population health decision makers to demonstrate the value of BridgeBio therapies to inform decisions on utilization
  • Partner with Clinical Development, Evidence Generation and Statistics colleagues on the design and execution of HEOR studies including real world evidence for BridgeBio therapies
  • Conduct HEOR advisory boards and market research as needed to understand evolving evidence requirements for payers and IDNs in assigned therapeutic areas
  • Collaborate with Head of HEOR and Market Access colleagues in ICER assessments and responses related to assigned therapeutic areas

Qualifications

  • Required: Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., health economics, health services research, medicine, pharmacy, public health, psychometrics, epidemiology, decision sciences)
  • Required: 8+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on the pharmaceutical/medical device industry and/or managed care; 6+ years of experience in health economics and outcomes research
  • Required: Demonstrated understanding of the US payer policy, US healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and public policy decision-making
  • Required: Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to present at the executive level and with external thought leaders
  • Required: Well organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage shifting responsibilities in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
  • Required: Primarily domestic travel, expected to be 20-30% of the time

Education

  • Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (as specified above) required
