      Role Summary
 Undergrad Intern – R&D Portfolio Strategy & Execution Team
 Responsibilities
 
 - Collaborate across multiple functions and levels within Amgen to support research portfolio management, collaborations, outreach, and resource management.
 
 - Identify problems, conduct research, develop recommendations through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and deliver final projects related to one of the following areas: Research Portfolio Management, Research Collaborations & Scientific Outreach Management, or R&D Resource Management.
 
 - Present deliverables and findings through various forums, including a final readout to executive management.
 
 - Engage in learning activities, network with colleagues, and participate in opportunities such as Employee Resource Groups.
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Required: 18 years or older; currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum; completion of one year of study prior to internship; enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program following the internship; must not be employed at the start of the internship; located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op.
 
 - Preferred: pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Management Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Communications, Psychology, Human Resources, Information Science or similar; strong written and verbal communication; highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines; enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn; adaptability in ambiguity; basic understanding of project management concepts.
